Terms of office of commissioners shall be four years and until the appointment and qualification of his or her successor.
All vacancies shall be filled for the un-expired term of the member whose office is vacant in the same manner as such member received the original appointment. A commissioner who is appointed to the vacant office shall represent the same interest or occupation set forth in Section 11.36.020 as the commissioner whose office has been vacated.
Upon the expiration of the term of office of a commissioner, the board of supervisors shall appoint a new commissioner, or reappoint the commissioner whose term of office has expired. The new appointee shall represent the same interest or occupation set forth in Section 11.36.020 as the commissioner whose term has expired.
