A. Pursuant to California Business and Professions Code, Section 12240, the fees to recover the cost of inspecting or testing those weighing and measuring devices required of the County sealer to be tested or inspected pursuant to Business and Professions Code Section 12210, subdivision (a) and Section 12211 shall be as set forth in Business and Profes­sions Code Section 12240, and as such section is hereafter from time to time amended.

B. In addition to any inspection required by law, the county sealer may inspect or test any weighing or measuring device or instrument used commercially, at the request of the owner or user. If such inspection or testing could legally be per­formed by a registered repairman, the county sealer shall collect from the requesting owner or user a fee, which shall be based upon the Uniform Schedule of Fees described in Section 12210.5 of the California Business and Professions Code, as such schedule is amended from time to time.
